The ADSC set out to offer companies, large and small, an innovative and cost-effective way to provide employee benefits.
For the next 25 years, the company flourished and became innovators in the development of dental benefits packages. In 1989, with the help of yet another group of dentists, the ADSC evolved even further. Responding to a need for additional improvements to dental and health insurance options, Lyle R. Best was hired as CEO to lead them in a new direction.
How is Quikcard different from other dental insurance companies?
Under Lyle Best's direction, the company introduced Quikcard dental plans. These plans were dramatically different from anything other medical insurance companies were offering because the self-directed, self-funded plans helped to save companies significant amounts of money in insurance every year. Even the best insurance company could not match the savings of this new groundbreaking plan.
From dental insurance to comprehensive health coverage
Quikcard has evolved and grown over the years to now offer comprehensive health coverage with our innovative health spending account (HSA). With an HSA, companies can provide their employees with exceptional health, dental, medical, vision, and prescription drug coverage with just one plan. We've also introduced employee and family assistance programs, and our new drug card is accepted in pharmacies across Canada.
