Quikcard Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lyle Best
Health Benefits Innovator
Lyle R. Best came to Edmonton in 1979 as a manager for a large multinational insurance company. When the company sold its Canadian operations, Lyle decided to stay. He took a position with the Alberta Dental Services Company (ADSC) in 1989 and quickly identified under-25 person companies as a niche market to which the ADSC could provide dental plans. The corporation administered over $125 million dollars in dental claim benefits in its first five years under his leadership.
A Community Leader
Lyle Best has incorporated support for community-based initiatives into his business strategy throughout his career. He is a leader in the emerging field of social entrepreneurship, counting both social and economic returns in the bottom line. He served as a Senator at the University of Alberta, is a member of the Premier's Cabinet for Alberta's Promise and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Tireless Efforts Benefit the Global Community
