Insurance plan innovation leads to benefits administration

The guiding principle of benefits administration has its roots back in 1964, when a group of dentists led by the Alberta Dental Association set out to fill a need for Albertans that was not being met by traditional insurance companies of the day. This pioneering spirit spawned a brand new philosophy in dental plan offerings.

The Alberta Dental Service Corporation continued to develop and refine this unique program until Quikcard was born in 1989. Since then, I have been proud to lead Quikcard through continued growth and innovation.

The introduction of our patented rules-based software adjudication systems has allowed us to now manage affordable health plans and benefits for more than 3000 Canadian companies.

In addition, we focus much effort in developing partnerships within the medical and dental community. These relationships – with practitioners as well as with our clients – help us ensure everyone's needs are met.
