ACCURACY
In-depth claim adjudication. For example, our system tracks a tooth extraction and would catch if a filling were to be claimed on the same tooth in the future.

DIRECT BILLING
We offer a direct billing card for dental and drug claims. Alternatively, with our “Quikclaims,” cardholders receive payment for reimbursement claims directly deposited in under 72 hours.

Secure portal for company plan admins to manage enrollment, funding, and run customized reports. Web portal and mobile application for cardholders to submit claims, view coverage, add dependents, and view usage reports.

OBJECTIVE

Quikcard is seeking a passionate, relationship-focused Business Development leader—a pro who excels at identifying opportunities, making connections, and building relationships. Quikcard is entering a growth stage of its business cycle. This organized, motivated, and forward-focused trailblazer will work to bolster our existing client base and engage a broker network across the country.

Working directly with Quikcard’s leadership team, the successful applicant will:

  • Represent Quikcard’s values in all aspects of their work.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance market share.
  • Conduct market analysis, pinpointing trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Work in a hybrid capacity with the ability to work both independently and cohesively with Quikcard’s internal teams.
  • Travel across Canada to develop and nurture relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Track and report sales performance and activities to the leadership team.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive developments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating, administering, and implementing winning business development strategies that the company should pursue.
  • Research and identify opportunities that are present in existing and new markets.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and conducting follow-up on sales leads to closing the deal.
  • Leading various marketing strategies like social media marketing, content marketing, cold calling, emailing, and other strategies to develop viable leads that can be converted to successful clients.
  • Representing the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases, and seminars to create awareness about organization products and generate potential leads.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with various key strategic individuals like local leaders, key industry players, and strategic suppliers.
  • To oversee and implement the full sales cycle which involves market research, market analysis, pitching to various prospects, and client retention.
  • Tracking and reporting on the various marketing strategies to improve on the winning strategies, adjust the ineffective strategies, or change to a new strategy.
  • Establishing the sales metrics and goals for various players in the marketing department including the head of marketing, business development officers, and sales consultants.
  • Create and implement a strategic business development strategy for Quikcard.
  • Set sales goals and processes to promote the achievement of organizational strategic objectives.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and business development plans with specific objectives across different products.
  • Works within the designed budget and keeps in mind the short and long-term organizational requirements.
  • Considers cost implications of decisions.
  • Established and implements sound financial management practices and controls.
  • Exercises cost control through expense monitoring and attention to detail.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop performance metrics related to team goals and achievement of Quikcard strategies.
  • Produce monthly reports for the President.
  • Other duties as requested by the President.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, MBA, or any other business-related fields

Experience: Proven experience in a Senior/Executive Business Development role (10+ years)

  • Knowledge of Business Development strategies.
  • Strong relationship building skills, excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven marketing campaign experience delivering or exceeding results.
