Basic Travel Insurance

Basic travel insurance is designed to cover you for what is most important – your health and safety. Basic coverage includes coverage for emergency medical assistance and medical/hospital expenses. If you get injured, become sick, or die while traveling, basic coverage will give you access to:

  • 24-hr emergency medical assistance
  • Medical transfers or evacuations
  • Coverage for reasonable expenses for emergency hospitalization

Comprehensive Travel Coverage

Comprehensive coverage provides all of the value of basic coverage plus provides coverage for cancellation fees, luggage, medical and repatriation. Comprehensive coverage covers:

  • Overseas emergency medical assistance
  • Overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses
  • Travel documents, credit cards and traveller’s cheques
  • Additional cover for travel delays (meals, accommodation, luggage, and personal effects)
  • Alternative transport expenses if your scheduled transport is canceled, delayed, shortened or diverted
  • Permanent disability and loss of income
  • Cancellation fees and lost deposits

Multi-trip Coverage

Multi-trip coverage is a 12-month policy that covers all of your trips (whether they are for business or leisure) during the coverage period. The benefit of multi-trip coverage is that you pay one premium, and you are then covered for every trip you make in that year. Multi-trip coverage includes:

  • Overseas emergency medical assistance
  • Overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses
  • Permanent disability and loss of income
  • Additional cover for travel delays (meals, accommodation, luggage, and personal effects)
  • Alternative transport expenses if your scheduled transport is canceled, delayed, shortened or diverted

Domestic Travel Insurance

Domestic travel insurance provides single trip domestic coverage. Domestic coverage covers travel delay expenses, cancellations loss of or damage to luggage and personal effects.
